Clearance Frames

When I made my trip to Michaels this past weekend, I also visited the clearance section in the back.  I found these great frames, which were most likely mistakes from the custom framing area.

The larger frame is 16 5/8 x 25 7/8 and the smaller one is 13 3/8 x 18 1/4.  I like the color {they are both the same color} and the detailing on each.

I’m thinking chalkboard for one and bulletin board or magnetic board for the other.  Although, I could even do a magnetic chalkboard.   Price: $8.00 each!

Two more projects to add to the “to do” list!

I never thought to look at clearance frames at Michael's. I guess without matting and glass they seem pretty useless to sell unless they knew all the ideas bloggers have for them! I am looking forward to your finished projects!

That is great! I think we are living similar lives...I went to Hobby Lobby and found a frame in the clearance section....It's GI-NORMOUS!!-seriously bigger than my youungest and she's 11! I think it used to be a mirror...but I will be turning it into a chalk board. I know, another to-do. I'll have to update my blog w/pics.

I couldn't pass up some frames at GW also. Some had mats in them which was an added bonus! Not sure where I will put them or use them, however they are there when I need them!!

Love the detailing on those frames!

Kathy~ you certainly have a gift for not only searching out the great finds, you also execute amazing redos. You surprised with the repurposing of the tulle dress into the table skirt...beautifully clever!

Sweet wishes,
Sara

What a great find! I didn't know they did that at Michael's, but I'll be heading there this afternoon to see if there are any frames at my store. Thanks for a great tip!
Cheers, Andrea
